About Me

Connecting through dialogue in a safe space has the potential to influence the way people think about themselves, others, and shift behaviours in transformative ways.  I continue to experience this transformation in my own life and am dedicated to doing what I can to help facilitate this for others.  In addition to understanding how we see and process, I believe that therapy ought to be practical and enjoy helping clients determine and take meaningful next steps that we can work on together. I value dialogue that leads to action and am passionate about helping people make meaningful and measurable changes as they're ready to do so.

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”

― Brene Brown

What distinguishes me as a professional is that in addition to providing a safe space to explore and process, I am action and growth-oriented. My clients and I focus only on small steps that will lead to bigger goals. The joy of psychotherapy is that we don't have to jump in to make big changes all at once, but through exploration and reflection together we can start small and work towards the goals you want to achieve.
